Course Information & Outcomes
I created this course because of client uncertainty about how their content fits together. When asked about sharing their content mission statement or content strategy, the responses indicated a need for clarity.
Here's some feedback.
"I enjoy writing blogs; my readers find them useful."
My questions:
Who are your readers?
What is the purpose of your blog?
What does useful mean?
Where in your funnel does your blog content feature?
"I got great feedback about my podcast series."
My questions:
That's great, who listens to your podcasts?
What's your goal? Who do you invite and why?
What does great feedback mean?
"I'd like to design an online course to help others."
My questions:
Have you tested this idea?
What type of online course and content?
Where is your research around your audience needs?
How do you help others currently and where does the course fit into your strategy?
Content creation is about drilling down into what content best serves the purpose of interaction with your audience. So, while the intent was clear, there was little research to substantiate the need, the intended outcomes, and often, ambiguity about target audience.
I polled 16 clients and asked them about their "grey" areas in content creation and designed this short course as a result.
Who is this course for?
Content Creators
Business Owners designing and promoting their own content
Content Writers
Content Marketers
The course is delivered over five lessons and designed to help those who are tasked with designing a Content Mission Statement, and those who deliver content as part of the content creation strategy. This is also suitable for those who may be looking to see how content can be incorporated into their content marketing strategies.
Course Information & Outcomes
Many businesses fail to understand the power of brand personality, especially in the digital/social world.
With so many different platforms available and heavy competition on all of them, it can be difficult to set your brand apart and carve out your place on Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok and Facebook, and whatever other platform you use. And, customers are seeking relevant content, consistent with your branding.
I've designed this short, two to three hour course to help you drive clarity around what your brand stands for. The most successful companies, freelancers, celebrities and business leaders have a clear brand personality, and their customers or followers experience that at each touchpoint.
There's no reason why any business shouldn't have a deeper understanding of how their brand behaves and interacts with their audience. This course is ideal for:
New freelancers or startups;
Anyone seeking to build a personal, professional brand that stands out;
Those seeking to drill down into their essence and personality to create authentic messaging for their audience.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you'll be able to:
Design a brand personality that attracts the right clients and customers;
Consider what brand essentials to build when you’re designing your brand.
As with all my courses, I adopt a step-by-step building process with exercises, and video support throughout. Go through each of the lessons, listen to the audio and watch the videos. Most of all, take time to complete the exercises.
